Nature has created various products for us to take care of our body and skin. "Cleansing" is the first step of skincare and the most effective natural skin cleanser is "Milk". Milk has got Lactic acid, which helps in deep cleansing, dead cell removal and soft exfoliation. It works as a great "Skin Toner" as it contains Vitamin D, B6 and protein which promotes elasticity and new cell formation, which gives a glowing and firm skin tone. Calcium, Potassium and magnesium also helps in boosting skin health and gives an even and clear skin tone. Natural fats in milk also works on sunburn, irritation and sensitivity and thus is a great soothing, calming and moisturising natural skin care product.


Keeping in mind the different types of skin types, you can use different forms of milk as per your skin type for your beauty regime.


Dry Skin - Whole Milk or Full Fat Milk

Using natural ingredients with high acidic content can irritate Dry skin. whole milk has a natural balance of lactic acid and natural oils so it works on cleansing as well as moisturising dry skin.


Oily Skin - Skimmed Milk or Low Fat Milk

Excess oil secretion is the major concern with oily skin, any product we should apply on this skin type should help in controlling the natural oils. Low fat milk will have lowers content of fat or oils but will be enriched with Lactic acid which will deeply cleanse and hydrate the skin.


Combination Skin - Part Skimmed or Low Fat Milk

The oily section (T - Zone) of the face is usually more prominent is combination skin. It is considered better to use low fat milk to remove the excess oil and deep cleansing of skin.


Sensitive Skin - Whole Milk or Full Fat Milk

Sensitivity on skin is a concern with Dry skin which results in irritation, redness and sometimes even a burning sensation. Natural ingredients with high Fat or oil content helps in soothing this particular skin type, this can be taken care with Full fat milk.



MILK APPLICATION ON FACE -


COLD Milk - 2 Tablespoons

Cotton Swab/ wipes - 1


Dip one cotton wipe in milk, then apply on your entire face and neck. Leave it for 2 mins. then apply again. Repeat this process three times, then leave the milk on skin for at least 10 mins. wash with regular temperature water (Room temperature - neither Hot nor Cold).

For effective and long lasting results, apply milk Twice a day. Once before shower in morning and again in evening after a long day of skin exposure to various polluted elements. It works as an amazing deep cleanser after removing make up, so should definitely be a part of your before bed skin care routine.

Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising are the basic steps of Skin care routine. Milk is one ingredient which provides a complete skin care. Skin is the biggest organ of our body and when we want to feed organic to our body then why give chemicals to our skin.
